Is anyone here a writer? What types of things do you write? Personally, aside from blogging, I love to write short stories and poetry.

I used to write stories and poetry all the time. In more recent years the creative side of me has remained dormant though. Right now I blog - hopefully soon I won't be too afraid to dabble with my more creative side.

I'm not a writer, but am currently studying grammar on a detailed level. From simple things like subject-verb agreement to pronoun reference, there are so many mistakes that a person can make when writing. I have always found this daunting. Do you guys check every sentence you write in detail?

^^Honestly I don't. I may re-read what I write once and fix any errors that I see but I don't do it obsessively or anything. I'm a little bit more careful when I post on my blog but other than that I don't check more than once usually.
