How did you learn your current set of graphics skills?
I started develop a basic set of design skills in high school. I learned a lot on my own though using library books and online resources. YouTube has so many great tutorials that will take your though the tools of nearly any graphics program. If you have the willpower to learn, I truly believe you can on your own.

Sometimes I prefer those just because I'm used to them and I need not pause every other minute to make sure I'm following the steps correctly.
